Settings

Manage your store's core configurations, verify your identity, and control your account preferences. The Settings page is where you handle everything from your store identity to account security.

Why Update Your Settings?

  • Establish Your Brand: Your store name becomes your unique identity and domain.
  • Enable Payouts: Complete verification and add UPI details to receive earnings.
  • Secure Your Account: Verify your phone number to protect your store.
  • Maintain Control: Access account management options when needed.

Managing Your Settings

Access all your store configurations from:

From the settings dashboard, you can manage:

  • Store Name: Change your store's unique identity
  • Phone Number Verification: Verify your mobile number for security
  • KYC Verification: Complete Know Your Customer verification when required
  • UPI ID: Add your UPI ID for receiving payouts
  • Delete Account: Permanently remove your account and store

Settings Fields Explained

Store Name

Your store will be available at https://[name].qxel.in
This is your store's primary identity. It appears in your domain, storefront header, and across your blog posts.
Random Name will be applied here automatically by default if you didn't chose at signup.

Important Considerations Before Changing Your Store Name:

Changing your store name is a significant action. Please understand the following implications:

  • Affects Your Users: Existing customers who have bookmarked or saved your old store URL will no longer be able to access your store through that link.
  • Affects SEO Visibility: Search engines have indexed your old store URL. Changing the name means you will lose all existing SEO rankings and visibility for that domain.
  • No Redirects Provided: We do not provide automatic redirects from your old store URL to the new one. The old URL will become inactive immediately.
  • Immediate Effect: The new store name becomes available and active immediately after you change it.

Recommendation: Choose your store name carefully and avoid frequent changes to maintain customer trust and SEO value.

Phone Number Verification

Adds an extra layer of security to your account.
You'll see a verification badge if your number is verified. An unverified status will prompt you to complete verification.
Once your phone number is verified, you cannot change it. Please ensure you enter the correct mobile number during verification.

KYC Verification

KYC (Know Your Customer) verification may appear if it becomes necessary for your account. This is typically required to comply with financial regulations.
Track your verification status (Pending, Verified, or Rejected) directly in settings.
KYC verification may not be required for all accounts. It will appear in your settings only if it's necessary for your specific situation.

UPI ID

We use UPI ID for all payouts. Add your UPI ID to receive earnings from product sales.
It is good practice to have your original UPI ID entered here.
You can also provide a separate UPI ID at the time of withdrawing from your Wallet, giving you flexibility for different transactions.
We do not support other payout methods at this time. UPI is the only payout option available.

Account Management

Delete Account

Permanently delete your Qxel account and all associated data.

Important Considerations Before Deleting:

  • Immediate Action: Account deletion is immediate. There is no grace period or waiting time.
  • No Backup: We do not hold a backup of your data. Once deleted, your store, products, blogs, and all content are permanently removed.
  • Compliance Data: We may retain certain data as required to ensure compliance with legal and regulatory obligations. However, we do not retain personal details beyond what is legally necessary.
  • Payouts: Any pending payouts may be forfeited. Please ensure you have withdrawn all earnings before initiating account deletion.
  • Irreversible: This action cannot be undone.

When updating your settings, please ensure you:

  • Choose Wisely: Store name changes have significant SEO and user experience implications.
  • Use Accurate Information: Provide real, verifiable details for phone verification.
  • Keep UPI ID Active: Ensure your UPI ID is active and correctly entered to receive payouts.
  • Secure Your Account: Do not share your verification codes or passwords with anyone.
  • Contact Support: If you face issues with verification, reach out to our support team before deleting your account.
