Your profile is the face of your storefront. Keeping it updated helps build trust with your customers and showcases your brand's personality. Manage all your public and legal information from one place.

Managing Your Profile

You can update your storefront and account details from:

From the profile dashboard, you can change:

  • Avatar: Upload a picture that represents you or your brand.
  • Legal Name: This is your real name or business entity name. This will not be public and is used for invoices and legal purposes.
  • Display Name: This is the name customers see on your storefront, usually placed below your store name.
  • Bio: Write a short description about yourself or your brand to connect with your audience.
  • Social Media Links: Add URLs to your social profiles to grow your community.

Profile Fields Explained

Avatar

  • Visibility: Public (Storefront & Blog posts)
  • Purpose: Adds a personal touch to your store header and author sections.

Legal Name

  • Visibility: Private (Admin/Invoices only)
  • Purpose: Required for legal compliance and billing.
  • Default Value: Your registered Google Name will be applied here automatically when you sign up.

Display Name

  • Visibility: Public (Storefront)
  • Purpose: The name that appears on your storefront to greet customers.
  • Default Value: Your registered Google Name will be applied here automatically when you sign up.

Bio

  • Visibility: Public (Storefront)
  • Purpose: Tell visitors who you are, what you sell, and why they should buy from you.

Social Media URLs

Connect your social channels to help customers find you elsewhere and verify your brand identity.
